PRICING POLICY FOR THE CLINICAL TRIALS
According to the VAT amendment published in the Official Gazette dated 07.07.2023 and numbered 32241; VAT rates have increased from 8% to 10%, and from 18% to 20%. Documents must be prepared according to the current VAT rates.
Clinical Research Board Decisions
The PROKOM Clinical Research Application Fees, which came into effect with the relevant decision of the Ege University Faculty of Medicine Board of Directors and Revolving Fund Executive Board, have been regulated as follows:
- For the year 2026, the application fee for phase studies and device studies supported by the private sector is 37,500.00 TL, for observational studies it is 25,500.00 TL, and an additional application fee of 13,500.00 TL is charged per application for budget changes in the studies.
- The prices of health services included in clinical research and projects; The fees are set at 5 times the amount specified in the Public Service Sales Tariff. For services not included in the Public Service Sales Tariff and its annexes, 50% of the service fee specified in the Health Application Circular is added to the invoice. These fees are updated at the beginning of each fiscal year.
Clinical research applications entered into the Clinical Research Management System (KAYS) are included in the PROKOM Commission agenda within 15 (fifteen) days of completion. After evaluation by the Commission, feedback on the studies is provided within 5 (five) days. Feedback regarding the studies is noted in the study's timeline on KAYS by PROKOM office staff. Revisions requested for clinical research applications reviewed by the PROKOM Commission must be completed within 45 (forty-five) business days from the date they are sent to the Sponsor/SAK. If not completed within this period, the application will expire and be excluded from evaluation. For clinical research applications excluded from evaluation, the application process restarts, and the review fee is charged again.
